The Henry Ford
Collegewas officially opened in 2001 as the home of the Ford brand. The
college itself is an impressive and unique dedicated training,
conference and exhibition centre.
The Ford College at
Daventry specialises in qualified adult and Apprentice learning for
Ford. Spacious classrooms and well-equipped work-shops create an ideal
learning environment. The Ford College at Daventry delivers bespoke car
and van education and technical training in line with the government’s
national framework.
The
Lagta Centre of Excellence is purpose-built to create an ideal learning
environment for Apprentices training on the FMAP in Scotland.
Situated on the new Eurocentral Business Park, near Glasgow, it has easy access to the M8.
Coleg
Glan Hafren is Cardiff’s largest Further Education College and houses
the Cardiff Automotive Academy, which has been the centre of technical
training for 40 years and specialises in delivering highly professional
Apprentice training.
Blackpool and The Fylde College is recognised as one of the top colleges
in the country. It is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) and holds a National Beacon of Excellence.
Bridgwater College, which was recently awarded Outstanding College status
by Ofsted, is a lead partner in the Motor Industry Skills Consortium of Colleges, providing consistent high quality training.
Transport
Training Services has delivered automotive Apprentice training since
1992. The centre has four dedicated training rooms with fully-equipped
workshops, and specialises in courses relating to the
transport industry.
As
one of the leading providers of automotive training in the UK, the
Manchester College is part of the Motor Industry Skills Consortiumof
Colleges. In 2008, the college was awarded the prestigious Training
Quality Standard (TQS) award, an assessment framework designed to
celebrate and recognise best practice inworkforce training and
development.
Located in Crawley, the Central Sussex College is one of the largest Further
Education colleges in the south-east region. It is also one of the largest
providers of Apprenticeship training in the area. Currently supporting 12,000
students annually in their studies, the college offers both academic and
vocational
training. The college has three state-of-the-art motor vehicle
workshops located over three campuses which provide light vehicle
technical training at a variety of levels up to Higher National Diplomas
(HNDs).
